Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FlowHomeschool ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. By creating a parent account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to agree to these terms on behalf of your family.

Description of Service

FlowHomeschool is an AI-powered homeschool learning platform that provides personalized lessons, progress tracking, and educational tools for K–12 students. The Service is intended for use by parents/guardians and their children under parental supervision and consent.

Accounts & Registration

• Parent accounts require a valid email address and are responsible for all activity under the account, including student profiles.
• Student accounts are created and managed by parents. Students log in using a unique Student ID and password set by the parent.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Subscription & Billing

• FlowHomeschool offers subscription plans billed monthly or annually. Current pricing is displayed on our website.
• A free trial period may be offered for new accounts. You will not be charged until the trial ends and you select a paid plan.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Share your account credentials with anyone outside your household
• Attempt to manipulate or abuse the AI tutoring system

AI Tutoring

The Service uses artificial intelligence to provide educational content and tutoring. While we strive for accuracy and appropriateness, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. Parents are encouraged to review session reports and conversation transcripts. The AI tutor is designed to supplement, not replace, parental guidance in education.

Intellectual Property

All content, software, and materials provided through FlowHomeschool are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may access and use the content solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes within your household. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

User Content

Student work, drawings, and responses created during lessons remain the property of your family. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content to deliver the educational service. We will not use student content for marketing or share it publicly without explicit consent.

Limitation of Liability

FlowHomeschool is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the educational content. We are not liable for any learning outcomes or educational decisions made based on the Service. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes that affect your subscription.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@flowhomeschool.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, though certain provisions of these terms survive termination.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
